Art & STEM Summer Camp Session Information
This week-long half-day camp will introduce students to different art mediums from paper crafts to watercolor to painting. We will tackle creative STEM projects and explore the natural world, all with an eye on encouraging the development of character and virtue. Below is a summary about our camps. Details will be sent to registered students.

Each session offers the same instructors and general learning experiences. Just choose the week that fits your child’s schedule!
Grade Requirement
Incoming 3rd-5th graders
Prerequisite
The student should be able to follow directions.
Skill Level
Beginner
Instructors
Our instructors have decades of experience teaching kids. Our lead instructor has had over 15 years of teaching elementary aged students.
Tuition

Tuition Includes
The tuition covers all activities and materials for projects. Students will also receive a camp t-shirt and daily prizes.
Materials to Bring
Please bring a water bottle, closed-toed shoes, listening ears, and a happy heart.
Camp Schedule
The camp is held daily, Monday through Friday, 9am – 12pm. Below is a sample schedule:
9:00 am : Check-in opens
9:15-9:30 pm: Welcome & Icebreakers
9:30 pm-10:00 am: Art Project
10:00 am-10:30 am: STEM Project
10:30 am-10:45 am: Games
10:45 am-11:15am: Art Project
11:15 am-11:45pm: STEM Project
11:45 am-12:00pm: Review Games, Prizes, and Clean-Up
Please arrange to have your child picked up by 12:10 pm.
Camp Location
We will be renting space from a private school at 1040 12th Ave NW, Issaquah, WA 98027. Please do not contact the facility directly.
Coding & STEM Summer Camp Session Information
This week-long half-day camp will introduce students to the basic structures of the Python programming language. We will cover variables and expressions, lists of values, using functions, strings, branching, looping, and basic graphing. We will learn programming while exploring the natural world, all with an eye on encouraging the development of character and virtue. Below is a summary about our camps. Details will be sent to registered students.

Grade Requirement
Incoming 6th – 8th graders
Prerequisite
The student should be able to type at a reasonable pace and should be performing (especially math and science) at grade-level.
Skill Level
Beginner
Instructors
Our instructors have decades of experience teaching kids. Our lead instructor has been teaching for over 20 years in higher education! He is currently an associate teaching professor of computer science.

Tuition Includes
The tuition covers all academic activities, including use of a laptop while at the camp. Students will also receive a camp t-shirt and a copy of a textbook on Python (for future learning).
Materials to Bring
Please bring paper and pen/pencil to take notes and a lunch that will not require refrigeration or cooking.
